Did you know that our small and medium size commercial fishers have been pushed out of the industry at alarming rates over the past several decades here in New England, priced out and overtaken by large conglomerates? Did you know that we import 85% of the seafood we eat here in New Hampshire, most of which is illegal, unregulated, and uninspected, coming from places that don't have to follow the same regulations that protect sustainability in the US?

New England Young Fishermen's Alliance is a nonprofit organization that was founded to bring light to these facts and do something about it. They have been hard at work since 2022 providing resources, creating networks, and offering support to New Englands' working waterfront.
