Education Coordinator
The Education Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing KFH’s farm-based education programs. The Coordinator is a co-teacher for the KRES and Farm & Forest Club programs. This role is an essential part of KFH’s mission to Grow Engaged Learners!
The Education Coordinator works with the Farm Manager and Executive Director to ensure farm-based educational programs run effectively according to mission and budget. Primary duties include:
Oversees administrative and logistical functions of education programs, including ensuring safety of all programming
Communicates effectively with teammates, students, volunteers, and parents
Plans and implements elementary age programming
Plants and maintains small garden space
If you have strong organizational and communication skills, have experience teaching children ages 6-11, and have significant experience with gardening then this position is for you! We are looking for someone who understands the importance of providing outdoor and farm education experiences to students, and believes in caring for the natural world. Knowledge of regenerative agriculture and permaculture principles is preferred. See below for details on how to apply.
Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant provides crucial support to Kearsarge Food Hub operations through a variety of administrative tasks and assisting with projects that further our mission. This role is essential to keeping the growing services of KFH well organized and funded!
The Administrative Assistant works primarily with the Executive Director and Community Engagement team in several key areas, including:
Event planning and execution
Recordkeeping and maintaining databases across multiple platforms
Office management and organization
Volunteer recruitment and stewardship
