Food Security

Creating access to nourishing food for all neighbors

We believe that all members of our community have the right to access nourishing, locally-produced foods.

Unfortunately, the rising costs of living and infrastructural barriers greatly inhibits access to the foods people need, especially fresh local food. Our nonprofit works to dismantle these barriers, strengthening and creating resilient food access channels for all our neighbors in way that also supports local and regional farmers.

As of October 2024, 37% children and 29% adults suffer from insufficient food in NH. This is unacceptable.

At the Kearsarge Food Hub, we consider this an urgent call to action: we must nourish community connections and invest in an inclusive local food system that gets food into the hands of people who need it.

The Kearsarge Food Hub works to support the needs of our community through immediate hunger relief efforts while investing in long-term food sovereignty for all.
